Plex client not loading/displaying library on firetv.

I'll try what you've suggested when I get home from work.

I do have a question though: Do you have any files scraped directly to your library, apart from the plex server share? I ask because I haven't scraped anything directly to the MrMC library itself, only tried to connect the plex client. This is something else I can try when I get home as well, to see if that makes a difference.

I suspected that, nuked my OSX dev userdata and made it startup from scratch. Worked like a champ. It should not require an existing lib at all. We coded specifically to avoid that requirement but that does not mean we missed something.

So there is nothing in my filters. I scraped my movies folders via nfs into my library. Went into my movies library through the main menu, and there was a folder named "MrMC Movies". Got all excited, started up a movie.....but it was playing through the nfs share, not through plex. I double checked by going into the webgui on my server, and also checked the file path in movie information.
Funny enough, my library is accessible from my computer at work.

ok, since Amazon decided to push out v2.6 rather than waiting for the Alexa fix, I'll hold off and add some more debug info that might help point out the issue. Then push that.

Alexa, speech handling. On new update, we dot not pause music when she responds like on older version of fireOS. They changed a message we look for.

I think it's worth mentioning that I tried it on the fire stick in my kids bedroom, and it works great. So there is something on my fire tv that is restricting it. I may try a factory reset tomorrow to see if that helps.

I have the same problem, on my Firetv is everything now allright, @ my Firetv Stick(1) i get no movies. I did a Hard Reset and nothing helps, no movies.

So I decided to purchase MrMC for my iPad as well, may as well keep supporting this project as await new features.

After installing and logging into the plex client with my pin, the libraries did not show up. However, after pressing the home button to exit the app, then going back in, the libraries were available, and was able to view my library and stream files.

I force closed the app, went back in, and again, libraries were missing. Pressed home button, went back in, and again, they were available.

EDIT: I just checked the log I posted for anything related to plex, and nothing was there. So I accessed the library, and now have plex events in the log: http://pastebin.com/dndrbjLC

seems to me the cause of this is something to do with plex, not MrMC, as it's now being reported on all platforms. am I wrong?
