I already asked about this in April 2016, but as there is still no progress, I dare to ask again.

I purchased MrMc for iOS (iPad) and my Fire TV 2 (box, not Stick).

Generally, it works great, but there is still something I am missing very much:
DVD folder (VIDEO_TS) playback with full DVD menu or the possibility to open IFO files of unprotected DVDs.
I have many personal TV recordings which I authored in DVD compatible format and put on my NAS which I still cannot play with MrMC.

Back in April 2016 davilla wrote:

What is the current status of this feature?
Will DVD folder playback come at all, and if so, at which time frame?

Thank you very much for your great product, which would be even better with DVD folder playback. ;)

DVD folder playback will come back but this is a very non-trivial task. There are two paths to this and both are difficult to do which is why it has not appeared yet. I've made two attempts and both turned into a mess so back to the coding board we go.
