MrMC for Shield

Post by tredman »

I can see you have an android version for the Fire TV2, but will this work on the nvidia Sheild?

I find SPMC and Kodi too messy for the Sheild and like the simplicity of using MrMC (and upcoming Plex integration too).

Is there any plans to open the android version from the fire tv to a wider market?

At this time, we have no plans for google play and our licensing of various things prevents offering a downloadable apk. The Shield is defiantly a target and we would really like to support it.

Thanks for that, I will keep my fingers crossed for the future!

This shield is a great box, but I'd really like to move away from kodi - it's a shame as I have been using it since the start, but I'm tired of everyone assuming you only use it for dodgy streams.
