when using mrmc with dvblink pvr addon when i change the channel without stopping and starting a channel the voice sounds really horrible like alien voices will provide a sound clip to explain and sometimes when changing the channel mrmc will crash (will provide a log when it happens next)
i have the audio setting as the following:

number of channels: 5.1
output configurationg optimized
enable passthrough ticked
dolby digital AC3 capable receiver ticked

always happened but only just figured out how to get the log off it lol,

Log file from a crash while changing channels when using dvblink pvr client (was too big for pastebin)

Try to disable system sounds. I had the same problem with serveral video applications.
