Re: Remember the brightness in the app
MrMC seems to do this just fine. I start video, change brightness. stop video. Start video, it has the changed brightness.
If you want it to apply to all video playback, then you have to scroll down and make it default to all.

Yes but only in the app in this case 60%davilla wrote:MrMC seems to do this just fine. I start video, change brightness. stop video. Start video, it has the changed brightness.

When leave the app and go to ios homescreen, then use the brightness from iOS settings, in this case 80%. Now open mrmc again, then comes 60% brightness.
Is so possible?

The issue is there are two independent ways to alter the screen brightness.
a) via iOS settings. In that case, The global brightness is changed and this should be reflected in MrMC. It knows nothing about the global brightness.
b) via MrMC. In that case, only the video brightness/contrast is changed. These are in addition to any iOS brightness change.
Pick one.

Re: Remember the brightness in the app
Or
c) Can you report Features request to Apple? You are developer. Has you access? Yes good.
For you:
That use custom screen brightness in the playback (for the app only)
Not forget: When activate the option. No effect by iOS global brightness. When leave the app, then use iOS global brightness.
