Unable to record/set timer using NextPVR

I can't initiate a recording whether it be from the guide, trying to record a show currently airing, or using the search function to schedule something in the future using NextPVR as the backend. The add-on is enabled and properly configured as I can watch live tv and see the guide info that is pulled from the backend client.
I haven't had a chance to look into if it's a problem on MrMC's end or on NextPVR's end but I was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems.
I have a NextPVR front end set up on another machine using Kodi that is working fine. That machine also is running the back end that MrMC is hooking into.
When I get a chance I'll compare add-on versions between MrMC and the Kodi instance.
EDIT: The add-on versions are different between the two instances. The HTPC box running Kodi hasn't been updated and is running NextPVR 1.10.8 while MrMC add-on is version 1.11.4. Which leads me to believe that the problem is on NextPVR's end. Anyone else able to test the NextPVR recording functionality just to try and determine a baseline? If so that'd be huge.
