I can't initiate a recording whether it be from the guide, trying to record a show currently airing, or using the search function to schedule something in the future using NextPVR as the backend. The add-on is enabled and properly configured as I can watch live tv and see the guide info that is pulled from the backend client.
I haven't had a chance to look into if it's a problem on MrMC's end or on NextPVR's end but I was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems.
I have a NextPVR front end set up on another machine using Kodi that is working fine. That machine also is running the back end that MrMC is hooking into.
When I get a chance I'll compare add-on versions between MrMC and the Kodi instance.
EDIT: The add-on versions are different between the two instances. The HTPC box running Kodi hasn't been updated and is running NextPVR 1.10.8 while MrMC add-on is version 1.11.4. Which leads me to believe that the problem is on NextPVR's end. Anyone else able to test the NextPVR recording functionality just to try and determine a baseline? If so that'd be huge.

NextPVR requires a stock Confluence skin on Kodi 15 and earlier to be fully functional.
EDIT: Removed question about what version of Kodi MrMC is forked from after seeing 16 hasn't even been released yet.
After looking into it more it sounds like NextPVR uses a custom recording window to confirm and schedule recording that MrMC doesn't support. It should be fixed in Kodi 16 but I'm not sure what that means for future versions of MrMC.
