How to get movies tab
Sorry for this newbie question.
I have added a data source to access my movies which are located on a NAS. However, I can only access the movies through video-files.
How can I index my movies and have them presented in the Movies tab?
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again
Any mention of illegal streaming sites, addons or any pirated material will not be tolerated. This is not democracy and any offenders will be banned and posts deleted immediately without warning.
Other than that, we hope you enjoy MrMC so far and we welcome any input and feedback you might have.

Re: How to get Movies tab
During the data source setup you tell it to use a movies scraper. It then matches to an online database and you'll get a movies "tab" in the home menu.jabr35 wrote: 21 May 2017, 16:17 How to get movies tab

At least I think that's what will happen. I use Plex these days.

Re: How to get Movies tab
Unforturnately, I did not find a field in the data source setup screen to use a movies scraper.
From main menu, I do the following:
Add video
Browse
On browse for new share screen, I selec UpNP devices.
Select NAS presented
Select directory and click OK.
On Add video source screen, I can Browse, add, enter video source name, clock on or Cancel.
I select OK.
I'm not sure what I can do differently to have the movies tab.
Thank you.

Re: How to get Movies tab
Looks like this, right?

Just change it to movies and select universal scraper on the right, or try others if you like

if you've already added a source:jabr35 wrote: 23 May 2017, 18:25 How do I get to the set content screen after I have added my upnp device source?
1) select the source in the files section. long hold the main siri remote button until a context menu pops up.
2) select edit source
3) click OK - this will take you to the next screen in editing the source
4) here is where you select the scraper "this directory contains" should be changed to movies or TV shows, whatever it is. Click OK when you're done
5) It'll want to scan and match, so let it do it, click OK or whatever to continue with the process.
