TestFlight - 3.0.0 iOS/tvOS

Hello,

As some of you might know, our versions are somewhat linked to Kodi database compatibility, when we launched in December 2015 we started with versions 1.*.* that were in line with kodi 15.*, then we moved to 2.*.* to be in line with kodi 16.* and now its time to start testing 3.0.0.

We are sure that not all current users in TestFlight would like to update database and loose kodi 16.* compatibility. We will remove everyone from current TF, anyone that is interested in testing can please send us a mail to [email protected] with subject "3.0.0 Testflight". Include your email linked to your appleID and platform you wish to test on(iOS or tvOS).

We expect to have 3.0.0 TF ready and cleared by apple in 7-8 days.

EDIT:

as we are working on 3.0.0, just a quick warning that running this TF version will update your database. all worked fine here but YMMV

Are you going start codewording the releases? Since it's 3 you could just start at C... MrMC Cronus!

we have not discussed the code naming of the releases, I'll bring it up

since we use plex for the backend database what problems might we run into losing Kodi 16 database?

if you are not using MySQL database and sharing it with Kodi installations you will not have any issues
