Plex client not loading/displaying library on firetv.

It works on all the native plex apps though.

Seems that a few are having issues, nothing device or platform dependent. In all cases, log does show a connect and parse of sections, but nothing shows up in movies/tv shows.

hi @all,

i`ve the same problem with mrmc on my firetv (2nd Gen) and my firetv stick...
just to make things clear:
in mrmc.. after i'm signed in to my plex account, the movies\tv-show`s should automatically appear in the sections Movies respectively TV-Shows, is that corret? i do not have to do any other "special" tasks?!

btw: no probs with the native plex-app on both devices...
running plex-server@win7 x64 ... 3 years w|o problems

2.6 has been updated, August 15, 2016. to those having plex client issues on fireOS. Please update to this build and submit a mrmc.log with debug enabled. More Plex Client logging has been added.

Note: Movies/TV Shows will appear once the Plex server(s) are found and parsed.

Your library shows up in the native Plex app, but not in MrMC ( I didn't try to stream anything).

Same as before, in order for Movies and TV to even appear on the main menu, I have to toggle the GDM discovery service.
I've compared logs for when I first boot it up - logs contain nothing about plex. After I toggle the GDM and check again, only then are there mentions of plex.

Your library also appears on my ipad - but again, I have to press the home button then go back in for movies and tv shows to appear on the main menu. After that its fine.

On my fire stick, both mine and your libaries show.
