Anyway, the remote issue is fixed in TestFlight. If you are using the regular app you gotta wait for the next release/update.

just a quick update.
I'm using 3.0.8 release now, and as with the first 3.0.9 betas, all 3rd party remote keys working again.
Only found one bug / change to 3.0.7:

I always using the FastForward/FastRewind Keys.
In 3.0.7 when pressing and holding those Keys I get a 4x forward or backward function.
In 3.0.8 it only gets 2x ? Is this a bug or on purpose ?

The original ATV remote does not have such keys resp. individual commands for FF. Therefore, 3rd party remotes must use a combination/chain of commands to provide such FF function.

I suggest that you provide a debuglog to see what happens/commands are being send when FF. Is there a chance to provide MrMC Team with the commands, timeouts etc. and the brand of the remote manufacturer/system you are working with?

You're right the SiriRemote hasn't got this keys, but when adding 3rd party IR-remote you can programm/add exactly those keys.
So it doesn't matter which remote I use, the programming in AppleTV counts.
Till 3.0.7 those FF/RW Keys were translated to 4x FF/RW while holding the key(s). Now it only gets 2x FF/RW.
Must have something to do with the new remote.conf stuff. Maybe this could be fixed.

In the midterm it would be really nice to get access to remote.conf (for "pro users").
So we could added/alter our own settings, as it is possible to add situation based key-bindings.
e.g I would love to have the option to get debug infos in fullscreen video (via long keypress or something).
right now it's possible to get this debug infos via web-remote interface, but getting it via hardware-remote is much better

But I get of the point...

Markus, are you on TestFlight? I suggest that you review these functions/individually programmed command chains in TF - and to address your issues in the most recent TestFlight thread (viewforum.php?f=10).

As far as I get it, MrMC team addressed the remote issues in several release versions and TF versions and the most recent TF changes have not been released yet.

4x ff/rew fixed in next TF, thanks for pointing it out
