Remote Problem after Update to 3.0.7

Hi,

I'm using MrMC with tvheadend tv-backend and a 3rd party remote configured in the appletv remote settings.
After the update to 3.0.7 the remote isn't working 100% any more.
To be precise when using TV in MrMC the UP/DOWN Keys don't working (for channel switching).
When using remote in Kodi Menus or in normal video osd (Film / TV Series) the UP/DOWN Keys ar working good (Chapter / Big Jump with up/down, short jump with left/right).

Is it possible to check settings for 3rd party remotes in the TV Part of MrMC ?

we will check on up/down doing channel switching for LiveTV.

I'm totally a fan of MrMC but with the recent update you really screwed it up. Neither the original Apple TV remote app nor 3rd party remote providers, who rely on the IP-services, work anymore.

It is not only the up/down key, it is the left/right key as well. I did not want to interrupt the family's TV evening, but there are several keys and functions which are broken - while everything is totally fine outside of MrMC.

As the problems persist even for the official Apple remote app I assume that the recent MrMC update has issues with the IP commands.

we understand that you have some issues, but could you tell me more about official Apple TV remote app... whats not working there?

we are working on a quick fix for all issues mentioned so far

sorry to interrupt but he mentioned "original", which I think is different from the current remote app that for ATV4.

there are some issues we have found. working to fix them.

The official remote app does neither respond to left, nor right, nor up, nor down. Strangely, left/right did not work in a first instance. But after a few command (play, double-click, up/down, menu) up/down did not work either. A few commands later double-click did not work.

Same effect applies to a 3rd party (hard key) remote control.

While the official remote app did not respond to swipes the 3rd party remote control commands are rather single taps.

The only key which kept on working are long press and menu.

I find that official Apple TV remote app very difficult to use, "select" is very difficult to achieve.

We have tweaked the core a little bit and it seems to be ok for directional movements using the ATV remote app.

I have also tested using the 3rd party learned remote and seems that we respond to all learned commands correctly, could you explain please how you are using 3rd party remote and how it's setup.

Hi,

as 3.0.8 Version isn't available till now and I got beta access ,
I tried new 3.0.9beta and switching channels in LiveTV with 3rd party remote is working again.
