Hi Amet,
I tried all of that as well.
In fact, I am just installing and then deleting the testflight updates to try and see if any of them fix this issue.
I am really leaning towards this being some sort of issue with tvOS as your MRMC for touch devices on iOS works just as it should with default settings.

jabohn,
This just seems like something outside of MRMC, as nothing else in my network or NAS changed other than MRMC.

Ok,
I got this up and running again.
I should have realized this but I was so used to using the "easy" way to set up kodi and MRMC that I it didn't dawn on me to do this.
Instead of just using SMB to search for the NAS-servers, I manually put in the NAS IP, share folder and username - password. I was then able to get access to the share again, even though I allow guest access on my local network for the shares.

As it stands now, MRMC is now running properly once again.

I was severely distraught with this not functioning as normal as I consider this to be the best way to manage my video-music and photo library on my apple TV and with this non-functional, the apple tv, at least to me, became a non useful product.

Anyway, all is good, thanks for trying to help me out!

For the record, I am running the latest testflight and with the "work around" it's running perfect.

So were we :) We strive to keep usage very stable so our users never have to pull their hair out. Again, sorry about this.

I'm still trying to resolve this one:

"DEBUG: getaddrinfo: 'CHATEAU-WOO-WOO' -> '92.242.140.21'"

I looked at this area of code long and hard and could find nothing wrong with it. Somehow, the smell test says this is related to your issue but can't quite figure out why. That area of code has not been altered for years so it pretty time proven.
