Neither can we. We have not see this type of delay since a year ago when AppleTV4 1st came out.fhall1 wrote:Holy crap - I wouldn't imagine the tvOS queue being that backed up!
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

must be something going on there. could be related to them hiring away the firetv guy to head up their apple tv division? maybe he called for a halt so they could re-work some guidelines/policy?davilla wrote:Neither can we. I've raised a support incident. We could also 'dev reject' it and try again but that would stick us to the back of the queue so I'll wait for a reply from Apple.

You can't public all versions at same time? What i mean is... is it possible for devs to public a version later? Or will the version automatic published after successful review?
If you can, perhaps it is better to public versions at same time, after all reviews are successful (for future releases).

Then you have a different set of people upset because they're not getting the update yet. Either way someone's going to be left out..

Re: MrMC v3.0.0 on iOS
It gets complicated, We would have to hold all platforms. In Apple App store, we can set for a manual release but in Amazon/GooglePlay, we can only set a future date.
Generally, we see tvOS pop right out with maybe 30-45 mins of review time. iOS typically takes a day or so but sometimes it also pops right out with a few hours review time. Amazon is about a day. GooglePlay was less than 30 mins but they are slackers and do not do any real review except via their automated binary sniffer tools. I doubt they even test run the App. Apple and Amazon do test run the submitted Apps.

Apple says there is no problem and just to wait for the review. We can't even dev reject it, the reject button is not showing. Limbo, which is better than Purgatory I guess

Thanks for keeping us in the loop on the tvOS submission, really appreciate the updates.
Hopefully it will get reviewed before Kodi 17.1 comes out.
