If you perform search, is some free ones as named above. You can download a disk image, or some MP4 files.
(Grab the MP4 files, and there is a folder called 'Basic' which contains patterns for black levels and white levels)

Set your AppleTV4 to RGB Low, and then use MrMC to play the patterns.

Adjust your TV settings first. Default the brightness and contrast settings on your TV.
Do brightness first to set so that bars 17 and above flash.
Do the white level test next, and reduce the contrast control until you see the max amount of bars.
You may have to go back and adjust brightness again.

When close, use the brightness and contrast settings in MrMC to fine tune, and save settings as default.

Note: disable VTB in Mr MC. else above does not currently work.
Of course, if your display does not support full range, then you will not see whites above 234.

The important adjustment tho, is contrast, so lower that and see if you see additional white levels.
In my case, I see all white levels right up to 254, with 255 being bright white.
If I enable VTB, I only see up to 234.
not sure I'll try and mess up the current settings. my tv is a high end 2010 model so I doubt it supports it anyway. :)

BluRay has limited video as it uses rec709 colour space.

Rec.709 supports both standard and full range video levels.

The concept being that 16-235 are considered 'safe' for broadcast use, where using these 'safe' levels mean users of older CRT televisions and the like, can view digital content, as the safe levels, force the display to represent levels above black, and below white.

Devices like the AppleTV4 can support either, hence the RGB high and low settings preferences.
(Which to this enthusiast is pretty freakin awesome, when such a cost effective device can represent output that
matches the full broadcast equipment at my work.

My TV supports full range, and so does the computer monitor I use as a TV in the office.
For the content I watch, the difference between viewing full range levels and standard, is quite staggering on a properly calibrated display. The subtle details in the picture is more than obvious to these older eyes.

However, as with anything, mileage differs between users, and equipment, with some plugging in direct to displays, others thru AV Receivers, and obviously all those in between devices change the recipe.

It is all weird science!, and that's what makes life interesting.

Something to watch out for is that on the AppleTV the color levels are not exactly well labeled.

RGB High = 16-235
RGB Low = 0-255

This is often the opposite of most other AV devices were low/limited = 16-235, I was going crazy manually setting this on my Samsung TV which has corresponding limited (16-235) and normal (0-255) and why I was getting such a screwed up picture till I figured it out.

Most modern TV's have an auto setting these days so they just go with whatever the set top box is outputting by default.

It's definitely a dark art in getting the nice picture, the default normal picture profile customized gave a much nicer picture on my Samsung than the cinema profile even after tweaking everything.
