- many bugfixes and cosmetics
- fixed, missing rar checks. fixes rar playback
- disable native ios/tvos as3 and eac3 on pvr, use ffmpeg
- disable screensaver if slideshow is playing, tvos/android
- fixed, android behavior when playing audio/video and pushed to background
- fix video playback from Home Shelf
- plex: in progress/recently added selector (Settings -> Library -> Vidoes - > Display In Progress items on home screen)
- plex: playback from HomeShelf, check if we have multiple resolutions for the movie and play selected one
- skin.amber: enable custom backgrounds for Movies/tv shows if only plex is enabled
- skin.amber: fix overlay for watched/unwatched status
- skin.amber: fix static vertical menu setting
- upstream sync. fixed audio glitch when stream changes midflight
- fixed, only update plex clients if playback is stopped
- fixed stutter on tvOS when seeking.

Just to remind you, this is a plex problem. log shows starting the app after being completely shut down. "movies" and "tv shows" do not appear. background the app, then refocus, "movies" and "tv shows" appear.

I assume that line is when I backgrounded the app. I see no mention of plex prior to that line.

do this, turn plex off (log out in settings), force quit. start mrmc, login plex, back to mrmc home, then wait 5-10 mins, then pull log.

which skin ?
when you sign in and go to mrmc home, is movies showing or shows up later
if movies is showing, no plex items if you go in ?

both skins have the problem but I usually use MrMC as retouched is missing some things for live tv.

if I sign out, close the app, start fresh, sign in again movies and tv shows appear immediately and content *is* available. With another fresh start movies and tv shows do not appear until backgrounding and refocusing.

ok, new info then. so problem is when signed into plex, app is quit. The on re-launch, plex does not show up, nor movies/tvshows. Sounds like there is a logic hole somewhere. now to see if we can reproduce it and find and close the logic hole.
