crash when using remote app

I like using the fire tv remote control app on my iphone. But, the craziest thing is happening with the latest MrMC build released for fire tv (git:2016-08-14-c0fa4dd). When I push the home button on my phone to put the remote app in the background MrMC crashes. I can't get logs for you because of the crash. This didn't happen with previous builds of MrMC nor does it happen with other apps.

edit: perhaps the build change isn't the problem. the OS is now updated to 5.2.1.1. perhaps something changed with the OS that would have caused all builds of MrMC to crash with the closing of the remote app?

nanda, was playing something when log ended. So it went pop. Logcat would show the crash.
