Price I'm willing to pay depends on one thing:
if I'll be able to playback .iso
Got a ton of .isos that I tediously ripped to save them from the kids handling and scratching.
No .iso = less value. .iso support = can with ease pay double your highest amount in the poll.
And if .iso support has been mentioned somewhere, please bear with me and point me to that post. It was not possible to search for .iso in the forum, too short a string.
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

+1
Obviously we gotta wait for a side-loadable version or a jailbreak of atv4. BTW: Originally voted for 9.99, so pls deduct my vote.

Re: Price Poll
I choose 3.99 :
- A high price may be harder to sell vs other existing application (OneVideo), agreed that it does not reflect the quality of mrmc, no offense intended but you're quite unknown on this market, coming with a high price may deter customer to cheaper and/or more known alternative.
- Infuse cost more ... but it's available on iphone and ipad for the same price as a crossbuy : I do own Infuse on iphone, why should I pay the same price for an application doing something Infuse will do an my Apple TV whith no extra price, and less platform support ? This could change if you plan to make mrmc available from iphone & ipad as a crossbuy.
- I know this is not a valid reason but you won't be able to prevent people to think : why should I pay for mrmc as I'm used to have xbmx/kodi for free ?
I will buy your application whatever the price but if you want to grow fast you should have the lowest price as long as your product is not functionally on par with its competitor (I only see Infuse).

Re: Price Poll
I disagree with you I think it should be more cash because it includes pvr infuse doesn't have pvr... neither does OneVideo. Mrmc has features other players don't have and maybe they will make an ios app because they already have an icon planned for ios version. Also I don't see a kodi apple tv app comming anytime soon. There has been people on reddit complaining about infuse still having a problem on apple tv and not using dts and dolby on mrmc that has worked fine for me day one of my beta testing. The have put time heart and soul into this and it shows. Anyway bottom line everyone got opnion but people are just too cheap sometimes.hot22shot wrote:I choose 3.99 :

Re: Price Poll
It definitely should be free with the IAP for Pro version. Or even free to try (all features for x amount of time, then back to basic version) If you start with $9 price tag, I doubt in this app's financial success. It simply will be lost between much cheaper apps. We all know that it's worth at least $9, but average/causal consumer hasn't got a clue. And that's the group you guys need to aim for if you want to make some reasonable money.

Re: Price Poll
How will it get lost in the other apps? For starters its got a better layout then some of the other players, Plex transcodes and needs a app on your pc mac.... Infuse has dts and surround sound issues.some people are only getting stereo from it and that is $9.99 for the universal. Nastify doesn't show any artwork it is really basic as all hell also has pcm audio.. Mrmc doesn't need to transcode and people have a keen interest in the look of mrmc because its familiar like kodi...also you tell me another app on the appstore with pvr options what is as polished as this one..even the cheap media apps are not free not truly because they have minute limits also I thought I was a casual consumer..krzysztof81 wrote:It definitely should be free with the IAP for Pro version.
