Are you changing the tvOS audio settings ?
Or switching anything regarding tvOS audio.
tvOS audio settings are always set to automatic.
I hadn't changed anything, just installed the update.
I have now installed (191231.240) and the audio problem is fixed.

is w3fdif for PAL content only?
For any interlaced content, like yadif but different algorithm.
W3fdif simple/complex working flawlessly with my 1080i50 live tv and recordings content.
