Thumbnail loading Speed

Hi, just wondering if anything can be done to speed up this skin. It appears that wherever I navigate to, the thumbnails re-load every time. So they are all generic for a brief second and then quickly load.

Same issue on my mrmc App on android tv..

Hopefully this can be fixed as Kodi is loading much faster and you would expect cached images appears much faster..

I should have said that I'm using the Ariana skin.

Just wondering if there's any work being done on this. I've seen no improvements in the last couple of months. Every screen I navigate to, the thumbnails reload and there is a slight delay before that happens.

Just drop MRMC, no support at all.

Use kodi in combination with Embuary skin and all to go. Nothing to add manually when using Emby. Very easy set up.

mrmc are not responding at all to any issues.

Your post makes no sense. Why would I drop an entire app just for a small performance problem with a skin? Kodi isn't available via the App Store either. A quick look at the forums shows they've responded to posts as recent as last Sunday.

Thumbnail loading is not the skin related issue, all skins get the images from core... it can be related to your network speed or latency, server speed(if it’s on plex/emby) smb or nfs speed issues, tvdb/IMDb/moviedb server issue if the image is being fetched from there.

We are looking into it in core, to see if there is an issue with cached images but so far nothing sticks out and we are not seeing the issues and I don’t see the debuglog report from your setup to try to identify the issue on your side

Oops sorry I forgot to look at your reply until now. When I have a moment I'll get a log. I just have a local network over SMB, Ethernet connection. I don't recall a load issue until around when I first posted about this.
