I'm afraid standing up was not enough to prevent Emby Server stable users with a bricked Emby Client Service in MrMC stable version NOW, when they are using Emby manual sign-in in MrMC......... because Emby Server 4.2.40 STABLE version, has just been released TODAY

That's why I requested this a month ago:

Can we have a 3.8.2 MrMC Store release with this fix (confirmed working on Emby server 4.2.0.19 beta), so I have a fallback MrMC version I can go to when beta fails

Right now, I can't upgrade my Emby production server (4.2.0.1), due to the log-in issue of the current Store version.
Also expect Emby stable 4.2 to be released within 4 weeks and I don't expect 3.9.0 to be ready by then, so it will affect all MrMC Emby Stable Users

3.9.0 wasn't as quick as expected:

3.9.0 is on a hot roll right now, it's main purpose is the plex sort and dvdfab converted media fixed.
Unless something very bad happens, we expect a very quick testflight and push out for release.

And unfortunately, something bad was Emby it seems.
Because now, it takes much longer to fix all current Emby problems in MrMC, now new Emby Server Stable version is out...

All is NOT OK with the Emby Client Service now, as you could already have read in this TF topic, in several posts.

Regarding issues, we don't spend 100 percent of our time remembering every post on every thread.
Things slip can slip by. It does not help to have us hunt down the details. Just repost it and that's good enough to remind us. And if we ask for pictures to describe the issue, please provide them. We are not sitting next to you and we might not understand the exact issue. If we don't understand the issue, then we start making wild guesses.

About beta's, of anything. It it's not released, I'm not about to screw up my working home/dev environment to check out a beta of anything. Been there, done that and regretted it every time.

FYI, Emby Server can be run portable (standalone from folder), so it does NOT screw up your Home/Dev environment.
The PERMANENT (security) change in Emby server, I already reported from MAY 7th several times and here we are JULY 26, affecting all users on stable release channel of Emby and MrMC, but I guess I just have to take the chill pill and shut up.

We have asked many times that only TF specific bugs be reported here for exactly this reason... reports get lost in 14 or so pages

I honestly have no idea what the issue is anymore with Emby, if anyone cares to sum it up somewhere (preferably in emby subforum that exists for exactly that reason) we can see what can be done.
