[CLOSED] Testing MrMC 3.7.1

Loading the artwork (from gray icons until filled) takes around 10sec for two rows (12 icons); in Ariana and Opacity. In the Plex Extension, the same takes around half the time.
I don not recall it has been so slow before. just to make sure, Using libsmb2 instead of libdsm does not change much; smb stat is unchecked.

smb client does not matter if using plex client.
as mentioned before, plex metadata fetching has been serialized to prevent a plex server side bug fetching it.

Using the Emby client, the page fills up almost instantly while scrolling.

I installed 3.7.0 from the app store. Again, connecting to the native Plex client, the pages seems to refresh the icons faster, but it could be only a perception.
Will be a "relief" soon? It is really annoying.

I just updated my library and my problem happened again:

- When it gets to updating the TV Shows, the progress goes 1-100 at least 4 times
- Each time it starts over, the progress appears to go slower

My database is in SQL on my iMac. Videos are shared over SMB.

I grabbed a new log but it's too big for pastebin. Let me know where I can email the text file to.

I think I've been overlooked. I'm still waiting for a reply on this.

So, if you had to change your view options before, go back to the home screen again.

Now call again either the section Movies or TV shows.

Switching from unwatched to watched and All videos via the context menu ONLY shows the thumbs of the unwatched shows.

Going back to home screen and back again to TV shows now shows all expected thumbs. This is always reproducable. In my mind this is a caching problem.

This is independent from the used skin. I can reproduce this effect as well with ariana as with opacity, too.

I was just added to the testflight and have the latest (.2228) installed on tvOS.

I'd read that the bug of getting stuck in the live tv guide was known and fixed but it seems to me I still get stuck. I press menu on siri remote and it brings up the view options. I press menu again and I'm back to the guide.

Incidentally, if I press menu twice quickly I'm backed out of the app to the tvOS home screen. When I enter MrMC again I'm still on the guide with the view options overlayed. Working as intended?
