I think it would be great if there was a way to backup your setup. Possibly to iCloud? So if for some reason you have to start from scratch, say on a new AppleTV, you don't have to tweak all your settings again.

I agree Backing up your settings is not a Gee it would be nice function. it should be available from the start.

iCloud on the AppleTV is not the same as iCloud on IOS, it's iCloud-kit and it works (internally) much different than iCloud. We are waiting for Apple to simplify and resolve access issues.

Note that the internal database can never be 'shared', it's sqlite and that is not designed for multi-access.
