Audio issues on pause are gone, but I still find that everything need a -0.100s offset in order to be totally in sync (or closer to sync at least, looks ok to me with 0.100s).

Hmm ... checking for new content doesn't yield anything. This is with the default skin, etc ... no settings changed. Also, adding an smb share is strange. It doesn't see the correct workgroup. I have to manually type in the share smb:// and so on and there is no way of getting out of the pop up keyboard if I change my mind. You have to enter one character before being allowed to go back. The iPad Apple TV remote doesn't seem to work in there. The whole adding a network share isn't working well for me. It actually froze the Apple TV so that I had to unplug it! Couldn't kill it off.

- so updating library
- adding share
- Siri remote
- Apple remote app

all seem to be having issues.

Regarding updating of Library: it just started working. Perhaps it's related to the odd message I get from MrMC that there is no network connection ( even though it's working and the network is fine).

Using NextPVR I'm still unable to schedule a recording from the guide or from search. After selecting the show to record, from guide or search, I am able to confirm that I want to record a show the options window hangs the app.

In 1.1.2 a new window comes up to change recording options, frequency, padding, etc however this window causes the app to become unresponsive, requiring a force quit, error being "ERROR: Window Translator: Can't find window visualization."

Here is the entire log from starting the app, opening the guide, selecting a program to record, confirming, and crashing: http://pastebin.com/nYeSALMq

If it's a movie, check to see if it has a pretty old modified date. A setting I have enabled in regular Kodi (which has to be done via advancedsettings as far as I know so isn't possible here) is:

Code: Select all

 <videolibrary>
            <dateadded>0</dateadded>
 </videolibrary>
Without this, files with an old modified date are still added to your library, but they're not classed as "new" so it just gets plonked in there quietly and won't appear in widgets etc. With the above setting, anything added is classed as new, regardless of it's modified date.

Actually, I might post that in the Requests section, see if we can get a version of it in the settings. I'm one who always wants newly added files to be classed as newly added files, regardless of when they were created or modified.

Or, you know, could just be a bug in the scanner :D

@Hansel

Neat idea with the date. Great idea in fact. It wasn't that. For some odd reason MrMC thought the network was down and so it wasn't finding anything new. The network wasn't down though. Once I manually added a new share it complained it couldn't be accessed but it let me add it and I was able to do immediately access it using MrMC. Then Library updates started working. The adding of the share wasn't without drama as I got the into this strange loop with the pop up keyboard and it froze the Apple TV.

Working fine now though.

could that be the issue?

but to get more info, enable debugging in settings and try to reproduce... it will give us more info about recording window

visualisation window is not an error that would crash, it looks ugly but we kept it in in case viz makes reappearance

Those using libdsm smb client, try zeroconfig 1st. If your server does not show up there, use the normal samba for access (uncheck use libdsm).

The normal samba server access is default.
