Went back to the regular release and calibrated the display, did not realise you can change the overscan settings there as well. Switched off scaling.
For some reason, lipsync is holding up now. Previously it would be ok at the start, then drift slowly to 0.2 to sometimes even 0.5 secs, then be ok for some minutes and drift off again.
I am pretty sure I didn't see it before. Could it be some corrupted setting due to the Testflight release I installed on top of the regular one ?
Container, video and audio format does not matter.
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

Looks like it yes. I went back to the 1.1.1 release and will test more.amet wrote:so to clarify, its fine on regular release and its drifting on 1.1.1 TF?
Wrt SMB, guess you only added the OSX flavour and did not fix the timeout issues yet ? I still see the STREAM error when my QNAP NAS has to come out of sleep mode and MrMC tries to access the share 1st time. 2nd time it works.

if 1.1.0 is fine and 1.1.1 not, I think we have found an issue... @davilla?

I'm seeing the same thing. Audio is fine and in sync up until I pause something. After that it'll be off by a pretty decent amount. I haven't gone back to retail though. Instead of pause I've just been exiting then starting it back up. I don't see an issue unless I pause.

Yeah I see it as well, only when pausing.
Stop and resume works well as a workaround.

I went back to the latest Testflight version and was able to watch a movie without seeing lipsync issues.Hansel wrote:Ok cool, glad it's not just me
I also think it gets worse or noticable after you pause the file. It then slowly drifts to 0.2 to 0.5 sec.
Another noticable change is that when you try to seek via the Siri remote, so via swipe left and right, you hear soft clicks or plops. So the video seeks (is moved forward or back for a certain time period), pauses again, your hear a soft click, moves further, pauses, another click etc. AFAIK, the previous version didn't have this. Audio should be stay muted until you really hit play again.

Still no love for OS X SMB, for me at least, I have file sharing enabled, as well, I enabled the Guest account and selected allow to access shared folders. Nothing shows up under Windows Network (SMB), if I manually input IP my shares show up and I can add my Movies folder, scans for metadata okay but unable to play any Movie.
