I installed the latest build on Shield with Oreo.

Using Opacity, I enabled the ability to see extensions and Plex on the main menu.

But, going into extensions doesn't show extensions but rather shows "programs" with android apps and android settings as options.

And, clicking Plex to open up the plex extension does nothing.

Got another update and am glad to see the Opacity GUI is the same as that on tvOS now. Good. One problem I see is that when playing back recorded broadcast tv with closed captions, the name for the closed caption is blank. All I see is black. when it's "on" I see a blue check mark over to the right but no name.

I have the plex extension disabled and upon initially going into the extensions (tiny button bottom left on home screen) it led me to the programs showing android apps and settings. But, when I enabled the Plex extension, now when I go into extensions on home screen I only see Plex. Not sure how it's intended to work but figured I'd report that.

Also, the Plex extension works now.

I'd also reported earlier in this thread that MrMC is not getting play commands from buttons on remotes sometimes. I'll start forwarding through a show and when I hit play nothing happens until I bring up the OSD and select play in the OSD.

This happens with both the bluetooth remote I use, and the shield remote.

There seems to be something weird going on with the in progress submenu of TV shows.



It just shows one odd item that's not clickable.

On the home screen the items populate as expected.

I have the same problem I checked all the skins it happens in all of them

I really couldn’t ask for more, aside from collections support, from the various crews working on Plex-capable tvOS apps. Just tremendous progress.

Thanks. How are collections supposed to work? You mean they are not listed along with other items in media view (list/grid)?
