I'd like use some of my mediacenter remote/keyboard IR commands to switch straight to :
- Recorded TV
- Guide
- Subtitle sync (can be mapped to any key)
and use the record button to ...record TV

Even with the key map editor....can MrMC (or any other app) discern IR commands that don't have an Apple TV counterpart?
I have my Harmony setup and it works fine..but simply replicates the commands available on the ATV remote. I would love to have expanded functionality on the remote.
PS. I love MrMC and am watching 50% of my live TV on it..so much better quality for live sports than Kodi/AFTV I have.
How about using IR-combinations (e.g. arrow-up + menu opens EPG?) or long/short presses? I've read somewhere about this but is there an overview of this somewhere? I'd love to program more buttons on my harmony remote.
