possible to get rid of black screens?

Hi,
i have two questions:
Is it possible to show Albumart or any Artistinfos in the background playing music?
I played with the Scapper settings, but only the small cover embedded in the file is shown. The background stays black.
Screen is going black after some seconds. I already disabled any screensavers but it didn't help.
Even if i enable "Dim" is just goes black but Dim is als active since i can see the dimmed screen when the track changes.
I think i missed something, but what?
My Version is:
MrMC 2.8.-0 Git:2016-11-22-d100d71
