Frame drops with 2.4

Just tried the 2.4 update and some of my camera footage is now unplayable. Even if enable or disabling 'adjust display refresh rate'. FireTV2 box is set to Auto. Played OK on 2.3. Have also been trying SPMC (16.4.0 with display switching) and they play fine with that, so something not quite correct. Tried from local USB but same issue. Any others having issues? Such a shame as this is a great step from the devs for the AFTV2 for frame rate matching. Perhaps try a remove and reinstall.

Got samples for us to try ?

Oh yes sorry 1.4! Have uninstalled and downloaded again and much improved. However still not quite right. Will upload a small 1080p file so you can test. SPMC plays this OK. Thanks for your help and quick response. Will get link to your mailbox.

Quick look under osx, sample is a little odd.
mediainfo says:
Format : AVC
Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec
Format profile :
[email protected]
Frame rate mode : Variable
Frame rate : 59.369 fps
Minimum frame rate : 58.290 fps
Maximum frame rate : 60.565 fps
but under actual playback, fps is solid 25.
Will do more testing when I get back to my fireTV tonight.
CDVDPlayerVideo::OpenStream - Invalid framerate 90000, using forced 25fps and just trust timestamps
That's under FFMpeg decoder on OSX.

Thank you. Yes, when turn off sync also plays at 25. When turn on sync, plays at 60p and seems to play at that very smooth on SPMC. As an update have changed the container to mkv and it now plays fine at 60fps in Mrmc. Not a major problem for me to change container but interesting. I had changed the FireTV to Auto so maybe was at 50hz before.
