I've got a video file (4k mkv) that when I try to play it, it just goes back to the directory page, but the title of the file is blue, as though it's playing, and the audio of the movie actually plays from the menu like it was an audio file, but not the video. Can anyone help me figure out how to get the video working as well? (Other videos play, but this is the only 4k one I've tried)

Sounds like a codec issue—try remuxing or converting the file.
