Hi folks,
I am running Mrmc on Android TV 8.0 on my Sony A8G. Within system settings I do not see any options for passthrough audio similar to Kodi and what I have read in other threads. Additionally, passthrough appears to not be working at all, even for simple Dolby 5.1 tracks as I am still able to adjust volume and volume amplification (which is greyed out in Kodi when passthrough is working). Voices are also fairly quiet which I think is due to downmixing. Any ideas?
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

Re: Pass through audio
Sorry for late reply.
Do you happen to have a headset plugged-in ?
That's what the log says, at least.
If so, passthrough capabilities are disabled, then, per design.
