Hi, I am a new user using mrmc with an apple tv 4.

My primary use of MrmC is for music and photos stored a NAS (DLINK 323)

I was wondering if there was a preferred way to acces my music files on a NAS.
Samba ? upnp AV?
I have about 4000 files.
Also any advantage of using a mysql database ?

Smb/samba is preferred way.

Advantage of using MySQL is to prevent Apple TV from deleting the database that’s stored in cache... it just decides that you no longer need it
