Maby I am just not seeing it but I like this feature. I use it a lot with Kodi when my kids want to watch a movie. I can get all animated movies organized.

Yeah, very strange not having genres in MrMC. I do not see any progress in features for the app on Android TV.

Additionally no trailers can be played for movies? I do not see the option????

Very simple and basic options you should expect at least when paying for the app.

Does this not work for genres on Ariana skin?

Alternatively if you are on Opacity skin, click left from movies on home screen would have genres tab

Regarding trailers, if trailers are in the movie folder then it all works just fine. That’s how I have it setup and no issues are found here.

So every time I don’t want to pick through genre I have to go into options and change it? Don’t sound like a user friendly way.

you can just select "title" and it will be listed by title

How? I first have to pick a genre. Will sorting them by title change to show all movies again?

if you deselect "flatten hierarchy" in video settings, entering movies will give you below screen... genres will take you to genres and Title will take you to list of movies by title

I have on Emby, but still not showing! On every other media player it is showing except on mrmc so definitaley from your side.

There is no any major updates on the app such as recommendations, because you watched etc. Really crap app with the most unuseful options such as select movies by title..

Posters are not showing on homescreen and I have mentioned this several times now but no support at all. You can learn a lot from kodi forum regarding support.

It takes 2 minutes to load movie Library.. again mentioned this several times.

Entering movie info shows only actirs, but nothing regarding recommendations or similar. Do you expect we know already which movie to watch rather than getting recommendations etc? Pointless and def not worth to pay money for the app.

we can look into trailers from emby, this is the firs time you are mentioning that there is an issue with trailers

please do not tell me, or anyone on this team how great Kodi support forum is... we have spent years as developers and moderators of that forum, feel free to check our forum nick against Kodi ones.

I guess that is only on your remote Emby server, we have our own servers that take few seconds... feel free to make the vote on the forum to find out from the rest of the users.

we are not, nor do we claim to be a support app to feed you recommendations. we are not netflix and we do not collect information on what you watched so that we can suggest what you should watch. Primary use for MrMC is for you to organize your library that you own, we do not suggest what you should watch or "acquire".

this is a support forum and any rude and insulting behavior will not be tolerated, this is not a democracy and we will ban you if you continue to insult us and the app.
