Is it the case there is BD Folder / .iso Blu-Ray Menu Support in the tvOS - AppleTV 4/4K version? viewtopic.php?t=4827

If so would love to see this feature in the Nvidia Shield TV version

'Show Blu-Ray menu' require the assist of java. It's non-trivial to bring in java.

The inclusion of libbluray in Kodi allows it to play HDMV menus which is better than nothing.

Would like to see MrMC for Android include this same feature.

As you mention BD-J blu-ray menus cannot be played without an implementation of java in some way.
