Just to get the feel for it, does anyone have any interest in CarPlay? https://www.apple.com/ae/ios/carplay/

so far it's in a very early beta stages and for Plex only, we will however extend it to Emby and internal MrMC music databases soon.

thoughts? ideas? interest?

Unfortunately, I also do not have CarPlay but I like the idea very much

Happy to test it once it gets added. Will probably not get much use out of it as I normally use Spotify while in the car, but can test it nonetheless.

I'm sorry it took me so long to find this but YES PLEASE.
I have been getting rid of my reliance on Apple's music application with the only issue right now being car play. If I can just run MrMC in my car to get my music, that would be BEST case scenario.

I currently use Samba/MySQL for the music library. Will that be supported as well?

THANK YOU FOR THIS! I wasn't holding out any hope for Carplay support but I am over the moon finding out that it is in progress. Please let me know if I can beta test.
