I think it's implied in this post that there's an update to the TVMosaic add-on that can be brought into MrMC.

it specifies kodi 18, in which I am not sure what has changed in PVR addon handling.

Resume points of recordings are interconnected now when using Kodi new TVMosaic PVR and TVMosaic Client apps.

Watching a recording now on a TVMosaic client app, makes resuming at the same point possible with new PVR version.
Vice versa the same, watching a recording with new PVR version, makes resuming at same point possible on TVMosaic Client apps.

Current MrMC TVMosaic PVR only uses his own resume points, without taking notice of resume points of TVMosaic Client apps for a recording.

I figured that may have happened already since the latest update to the software was a year ago.

too bad, but it still works just fine and there's plex live tv too.
