IPTV Simple client channel changing

Hi,
I have enabled IPTV simple client and linked it to my M3U list which I can see the channels for in the TV menu. My problem is when i try and change the channels using the up or down arrow on the screen it crashes the app. Has this function been removed or is there a setting in the app that i need to enable?
