My Amazon Fire TV 4K (original version with Ethernet socket) plays 4K UHD shows from Amazon Prime on my 4K TV but MrMC (3.6.2) only offers 1920x1080 or 1280x720 resolution in Settings->System->Video output

How do I get 4K output using MrMC?

Settings->System->Video output only shows the GUI resolutions, not the video ones

Thanks. Running the test it appears that 4K video displays OK.

Why can't we have a 4K GUI?

I guess because the AFTV doesn't tell us that it can.
A debuglog would tell.
