Resuming video playback after long pause

Using v1.1.0 and when I pause a movie or TV Show for a long time e.g. 10+ mins and come back to resume it the content plays for 10secs or so and then MrMC hangs. No video, no response from the remote. Only way to get it working again is to kill MrMC and then restart it.
As well as this issue I also get a problem where the restart sometime hangs with the Loading database message and the only way I seem to be able to get this to work again is to restart the AppleTV. I am using a mySql database and sharing it with 4 other Kodi boxes around the house, but it is only MrMC that is unable to load the database.
Apart from this the port to the AppleTV is great and I can't wait to retire my old HTPC in the lounge once the main MrMC bugs have been ironed out
