we can only receive IR buttons that apple allows, arbitrary IR button reception does not have an API.

keymap.xml is not used in tvOS(apple tv) application

one option we might bring in future is ability to select what some buttons will do in certain windows(full screen playback, home, ... etc) but its still under discussion to see how best to do it.
