MrMC

I have a bit of a weird question. Actually, this is about something that is working and I am surprised why it is and am just curious.

I am using texturecache maintenace to speed up my MrMC experience. In order to work, I need to enable the MrMC web server that listens on 8080.

The weird thing is that it even works when MrMC is shut down and I am in the ATV menu. Any idea why this is the case?

define 'shut down' ?

menu'ing back out of MrMC does not shut it down. It just gets pushed into the background.
