I tried out EDL skipping... Is there a way to just make these "chapters" that I skip to like a movie instead of it automatically skipping for me? Comskip isn't always accurate, so what I'm trying to play I can't backup approx 20 seconds because it automatically wants to jumps forward. Seeking backwards was having issues. Instead it would jump me ahead or not seek back, and was just not reliable at all. Here's a log:

Also I noticed if you go into 'Files' then choose the folder and dig down through the folders to show episodes, the media information on my DVR'd shows is almost completely below the screen (with Amber). Everywhere else it's normal, and I checked my screen configuration and it's set up properly.

Yours are marked as 'Cuts' (using 0), try using 'Commercial Break' (using 3).

I'll see what script I can come up with to change them all. My DVR provider actually does it all automatically after a recording, so I have to change it after the fact.

Edit: I made the script to change them all. I'll test it out with a 3 in a bit.

It works a lot better with the '3' set, but I'd still like an option to turn the automatic part of it off and then use the Chapter Skip button to manually jump when the Commercial break pops up.

Update: Now it's finally over

I don't know if this really is specific to this Testflight but I haven't seen it before.

When cleaning my database the progress dialog disappears before it's actually finished, as shown in the linked log.

In fact, it disappears after just four seconds and the operation takes over two minutes.
