MrMC

Since the 3.0.7 update, I am having a great deal of difficulty navigating MrMC. Swiping through our library with the Siri remote causes the cursor to jump wildly and uncontrollably through our movies, tv shows, menus, etc... When swiping down to go from one movie to another movie below it, the cursor scrolls wildly through several movies and ends up many movies away from the intended target. It will not go one item at a time anymore. Also, during playback, the ability to jump forward one chapter by swiping up is completely gone. If you are going to give a radical update to MrMC like this, please give the user the ability to turn off the wild scrolling feature and allow them to go back to one movie per swipe when browsing through the list like it was before. The sidebar was a quick way to navigate through several items. That was good enough. Also, put back the chapter jump ability please. MrMC is almost unusable with the new update.

By the way, I already went into settings - system - input devices and turned off the following:
- Enable Siri remote focus zoom
- Enable Siri remote focus slide
(It took me several tries just to get the remote to scroll to and stop on settings)

Neither of these settings affected the remote action. It still scrolls uncontrollably. Please fix this! Thanks you!

We knew that there would be some issues that did not show up during testflight of v3.0.7

tvOS modifies the swipe behavior depending on how much and how fast you swipe. We mimic the same behavior now. Swipe less for now.

If you want to scroll, use pan.

Did you watch the video ?

Depending on feedback, we might add a settings to modify the swipe behavior to force only moving by one.

Instead of swipe up/down to jump chapters, tap up/down.

Tapping up/down on Siri remote only does big skips now. It used to jump chapters if they exist, big skip if they didn't. That no longer seems to work...at least for me.

Chapter skip is working again, also seems to have improved navigation. Either that or I am getting used to the lighter touch needed to navigate. Seems to be very much improved. Thanks!

thanks for letting us know, sorry for missing chapters in 3.0.7

One "issue" or something gone away, is that before in older builds when you hold the buttom down for long, this would brig up canals when watching TV, and now it pause insteed!

I would like to see this back and/or even better if it would bring up the EPG!
