3.8.0 (190203.1722)
core: iOS/tvOS, check color_primaries when deciding SDR/HDR/DolbyVision
core: iOS/tvOS, fix audio sink channel setup when max channels == 2
core: remember last server selected on home
core: add video demuxer color primaries to hints
core: ffmpeg/atmos, only trust eac3/atmos if framesize is 1792
core: fixup, atmos: ec3/atmos for iOS/tvOS
ios/tvos: new icons
android: new icons
plex: clear server type and server UUID on sign-out
emby: ignore folders from emby, they show on home screen
I like the new splash screen with the new logo and grey background. I use the Opacity theme and wonder what it would look like to use the grey background instead of the multicoloured background (the one I designed) or even a blending of the two. Thoughts? It would provide some consistency with your new branding. I still have the working files for that colourful background and could play around with it.

Any changes for android coming? Koying said in my request thread that the addition of AMC decoding of mpeg2 would come to 3.8.

While you are at it, toning down Red, can you also tone down Green or add an Emby green, for use in my Emby MrMC profile for Opacity Skin color
Hexcode for Emby green is:
52b54b
Current MrMC green in Opacity seems a bit too bright for me.

Lately (so maybe this has been going on for a long time), I just noticed something strange that I only started to notice, when comparing the sound from a Live TV channel with AC3 multi channel sound (DVBLink/TVMosaic PVR) versus the recording of that SAME channel.
What I hear happening is, looks very similar like a phase change in sound output when playing the recording of that AC3 TV channel.
With the Live TV channel, the sound is more vibrant and the location of the sound can be exactly pinpointed and is more centered. The recording of that same channel is a bit muffled and the direction where sound is coming from seems off centered. (That's also typical for sound that is coming from loudspeakers that are not in phase.)
I also hear that when comparing playing a DD5.1 movie in MrMC vs Infuse. In Infuse it is more vibrant and directional.
With DTS tracks I don't hear this phenomenon and sound is the same in MrMC and Infuse.
Maybe something similar as reported in other topics, like
https://forum.mrmc.tv/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=564, while I don't notice wrong channel output when playing a 5.1 speaker test clip.

The only change regarding audio (AppleTV4/4K) was for eac3/atmos. Nothing was touched regarding ac3.
Which tvOS ?

It's in my signature, tvOS 12.1.2.
I know that 3.8.0 changes where Atmos related only and that's why I said it may have been this way already for some time

The splash screen seems not to be tested with multiple MrMC profiles.
Can't use MrMC profile switching anymore, because when loading a MrMC profile from log-in screen, it's trying to show the 5 seconds splash again, but hangs directly. The OSD with scrubber stays active, but there is no way out of it, to get to the menu's or stop the splash movie clip.
Reverting back to previous Testflight.
Btw, in 3.8.0 (190203.1722) the splash screen never showed up, when multiple MrMC profiles are in use.
PS: Thanks for adding "Emby" green in Opacity
