OK, watched episode to the end, status unwatched after. even did an update library after, still marked unwatched..

Yes you still have access.. Episode not sure, but it doesnt matter. You can watch the same episode, one time it will mark it watched properly the other time it wont.
I have 2 more boxes with LibreELEC on it and their Emby client and don't have that issue there

there is a possible fix with reporting to emby server, if you are in testflight you will receive it soon

Testing the latest testflight with the
SMB changes.
What does it mean if it can't see my windows 10 desktop when browsing
SMB anymore?
I think I must have done something to screw up a little detail in windows when trying to fix security problems a while back.

Are you using libdsm ? Settings -> services ->

yes, new default is libdsm and I left it alone. I didn't try the alternative yet.

To be honest, I am not familiar with windows system at all... libdsm will not do smb2/3 only smb1 and "NT LM 0.12" according to libdsm devs
