Could we please get DV working on Android?

If we need that profile we need that profile

How can i get my hands on the test version that had DV working? I'm a beta tester.

I see that folks trying to implement changes in the MKV standard are working with the creator of MakeMKV for an agreed method for storing Dolby Vision data in a private layer, and could be accessible for playback on supported hardware and software..

now devices just need to be updated to be able to use those new mkvs

where have those crickets been talking?

So far i can play some DV titles on my external for a couple of minutes then it freezes. The only way to play the whole movie is by using Plex with the media on my PC.

Is there an ambition to make dolby vision .ts and .mp4 other then currently working profile 5, to work?
