Seriously, it is related to the effort Plex is willing to invest in it or alternatively the effort MrMC is going to invest in its own skin, Ariana or another. The Plex Extension still provides an excellent UI, Ariana still needs quite some work; but this is a different topic for a different thread.
Excellent effort regarding Emby, lately, you are certainly approaching the perfect Emby client; I definitely use MrMC for Emby more than before.

I would rather invest into MrMC changes then hacking around Plex Extension, makes it a nightmare to merge changes after

Lets talk (somewhere else) about what's missing in Ariana, I'll look into issue with stopping the playback

MrMC keeps getting hung after I watch something from Emby (I tested Plex and it works fine). In the 'Up Next' area on the home screen I play an item, it plays all the way through and jumps back to the home screen. I can hear the clicks from navigating, but the screen doesn't change from what used to be there when I selected what I'm watching. Here's the debuglog where I recreated it by playing something, scrolling to the end, then it exits and goes back to the home screen and the screen's frozen but the navigation sounds are still going: https://www.stephens.cc/logs/mrmc.log

There's also still the issue where posters/artwork on the home screen has the grey icon instead of the actual artwork until you hover over it, but when you move away it goes back to grey for new content.

PVR bug is back, as we had previously in this branch.

No recordings import or EPG import or showing of TV channels/recordings at start of MrMC.
(TVMosaic/DVBLink PVR, so I guess TVH has same problem)

Logs sent by email.

MrMC crashes eventually to Apple TV Home screen after a couple of minutes, so it looks like same behavior as before.

Still there in the most recent update.
