I'm been busy this days, but yesterday i tryed the last build (clean install) and everything works perfectly now!
Blacks are blacks in SDR and HDR files, 24Hz or 60Hz.
Great job!
The only thing i didn't test was live tv... i will try tonight...

Black levels are off with the most recent. Pretty noticeable in the Orville when space is supposed to be black at the end of the intro (it also fades to black) but it's all grey.

Was that an mpeg2 .ts or transcoded to h264?

H.264
Edit to add: I played back the original mpeg-2 (luckily I keep those pretty handy) and it was fine. It's the H.264 that's messed up (but black levels are fine using the native player and my DVR app).

About time I came back to the ATV camp after my last ATV was a very hacked ATV1 from 2007 !!
Pretty impressed with the ATV4K and with FW11.2, MrMC is working well.
One small possible Bug with Build v3.3.1 171207.1831 - deinterlacing 576i mpeg2 TV
Deinterlace Method defaults to Bob if left in Auto, and it results in high frequency minor image vibration and pretty soft video output.
Changing to Deinterlace Method > Deinterlace (YADIF2x) naturally result in superior deinterlacing and sharper video output.
Save that to "default for all videos" and subsequent testing of 1080i h264 TV is fine with that Deinterlace Method also.
Wishes:
- the clean, no nonsense Eminence Skin from a fellow Aussie - @jurialmunkey - or even one of his other very nicely designed Skins.
- possible testing of improved Software scalers for SD mpeg2 TV content.

I see 16 as grey, with 0 being black. 'Use limited color range' looks exactly the same if it's checked or not.

To my TV.
4K HDR at 60Hz, BT.2020 4:2:0 chroma (setting it to 4:2:2 didn't change anything), at 10bits pixel depth, match dynamic range on, match frame rate on. When I start playing it switches to 4K SDR at 60Hz, YCbCr 4:4:4 at 8bits pixel depth.
