Plex transcoding is still being worked on. It's being a bitchy little girl right now.

I seem to have some issues with shows not being marked as watched (using emby client). This has been happening for the last few releases, but I didnt have the time to post here..

Also, this doesnt happen all the time either.. But it does happen very often..

Amet, you still have access to my server if you need to test anything..

is that, episode not being marked watched after you finish watching it or is it you manually selecting "Mark as watched"?

At first I thought it didn't mark them as watched if I skipped over the end credits but I soon found out it would also do it if I let the episode finish all the way.
Marking them manually as watched works 100%

that is really odd, I cant reproduce here... I have tried playing to the end, tried stopping few minutes before the end.. whichever way I try it marks it correctly and I see watched tag in MrMC and emby webui.

could you reproduce on your side and capture a debuglog when it happens please, just to see that its not giving any errors back

I am rather concentrating on hevc playback with/without Plex on ATV4. I take ABC Player and PlayerXtreme for comparison. The media I use is hevc, 10bit, 5Mbps (I have no ambitions for more on ATV4; without transcoding)
The latest test flight performs much better; on par with PlayerXtreme but still behind ABC Player; without Plex transcoding. With Plex transcoding, all is well even with higher rate, as expected. My PMS runs on a MacBook Pro, core i7, 2012.

Excellent effort indeed when compared to previous versions!
