Re: Testing MrMC 3.9.0 - Apple TV - [Invites Closed]
lets see if whats in TF solves this issue.... we will show a season folder with multiple episodes now.amet wrote: 05 Jul 2019, 09:42This is something that will take a bit of a time to resolve, I’ll see if it can be done for 3.9.0.monkbolt wrote: 05 Jul 2019, 06:43Sorting by date added works for movies now but not for TV shows, I think. Also, multiple TV episodes added simultaneously still don't show up on the home screen.davilla wrote: 04 Jul 2019, 03:03 There were complaints about plex sort order missing 'date added' and sorting wrong.
Have these issues been fixed ?
In short, plex sends multiple episodes as a show that includes those episodes and we only handle individual episodes on the home screen.... not impossible but it will take some time and testing to get it done.
I’ll check with the rest of the team if this should go in 3.9.0, and possibly delay the release or should we get this version out and work on it for the next release.

tvOS 12.3
Apple TV 4K

When starting MrMC the first time after sleep mode I always get a flickering home screen. It seems for me that some cover elements are rebuilt at this state.
Could be this happens after I added some episodes resp. movies on another MrMC client in my environment, but that‘s not for sure.

3.9.0 (190706.1451)
sync skins
do not ask if we are sure when switching a skin
add Seasons and Shows to home shelves
fix: incompatible skins not populating TopShelf

Thank you! It looks the same as in Plex with one exception: the latest added show (a 4 episode season) is displayed as 4 separate thumbnails instead of a single one for some reason.
The latest version still doesn't sort by Recently added for TV shows. I have to say all of the sorting options worked great for me previously and I don't see why they needed to be culled in 3.9.

No, the effect is still there (190706.1451). Unfortunately, I don‘t know yet how to reproduce it. I could try to take a short video of the start sequence. But where to upload it, and would this be even helpful for you?amet wrote: 06 Jul 2019, 22:38DocEagle wrote: 06 Jul 2019, 14:09 tvOS 12.3

Still can't hide watched from the recently added section on the home screen at least with a Plex backend.

No change on the Emby connection front; just a reminder
